- Important Message For Food Service Facilities -

Pursuant to Maryland Governor’s Executive Order Number 20-06-10-01, food service facilities may resume indoor seating operations at 50% capacity. If resuming indoor operations, please submit the notification no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, June 19 to the Charles County Department of Health. Once the form is submitted and the facility is fully compliant with the requirements outlined in the Executive Order, the facility may resume indoor seating operations while the notification form is being reviewed by the Department of Health. The facility contact person will be notified of any issues identified on the notification form as soon as the review is completed.  

On Thursday, May 14, the Board of Commissioners met to discuss implementing phase one guidelines of Maryland’s “Roadmap to Recovery.”  They voted 3-2 to institute phase one of Governor Hogan’s order beginning May 29. Read the News Release.
